The SafeWaters™ Armband
We’ve all been there: Someone offers you a bulky, bright orange life vest and you politely decline. “You know how to swim,” you tell yourself. Life vests are effective, but they’re bulky and makes you sweat a whole lot more. They're just not the sort of thing you haul around with you wherever you go, especially if it’s hot and you’re on holiday. Plus, they look pretty dorky too. Well, good news for all you who would previously forgo wearing a life vest: you can now have the same security in the waters without the restrictions or discomfort of a life vest
The ultimate safety device for all ages
The afeWaters™ Armband is a water safety device made to prevent losing life to the waters. We all know that it is possible to drown even in shallow pools and calm waters, even the greatest swimmers can find themselves in a water emergency. The afeWaters™ Armband aims to provide an alternative to life jackets. It gives a good fit for a wide range of people, from kids who may not have constant adult supervision to elderly people who are more at risk for unpredictable circulation and cramping problem.
✔ Compact design
It weighs only 5 ounces and is a size of a smartphone. Therefore, it is not bulky and doesn’t restrict movements like most life vests do.
✔ High load-bearing capacity
Its high load-bearing capacity allows it to hoist an adult weighing as much as 260lbs. It lifts the wearer to the water surface in a matter of seconds and keeps one afloat long enough to call for rescue.
✔ High quality material
The inflating bag is made of thermoplastic polyurethane(TPU) that has very low dense and high buoyancy. It also lasts longer than most lifebuoys or life vests.
✔ Built-incompass
It comes with a built-in compass so that in any case the wearer is lost in the big ocean, he can find his way back to safety.
✔ Whistle
It also comes with a whistle that is loud enough to be heard two blocks away, so that the wearer can grab attention and get help whenever needed.
✔ Reusable
Simply deflate the bag and fold it back into the casing. Replace the carbon dioxide cartridge and this flotation device can save lives again.
Simple steps to save a life
Step 1: Open the plastic cap to screw in the carbon dioxide cartridge, then cap it back.
Step 2: Wear it on your arm or wrist with the adjustable strap when you go for water activities.
Step 3: When there’s a situation underwater, pull the lever. The bag inflates within 1 second.
Step 4: After usage, unscrew the used cartridge and press the air out of the bag.
Step 5: Once the bag is deflated, fold it back into the casing and replace the cartridge.
What people are saying
It is nice to have peace of mind while boating with my grand kid on board. I gave her instructions on how to deploy it in an emergency when we are in another part of the boat. This is a very sensible product to have while having fun on the water. I recommend this product to anyone for use as a life saving device because it's not as bulky or cumbersome as some life jackets. It is also priced very reasonably.

I ordered it for a lake trip and tested it out there. It works perfectly! What I like most is that it is reusable. The CO2 cartridges are pretty cheap so no big deal to change them out. I keep it for when my son goes fishing so he doesn’t have to wear a life jacket the whole time. He doesn’t like wearing a lifejacket and I would like him to have something just in case of emergencies.

I swim in open water with a buoy attached to my waist, but in triathlon / Ironman competitions, I carry this instead (buoy is forbidden). I bought 2, one for me, one for my brother. The products came in perfect conditions, the instructions are clear. It is fairly easy and convenient to use. It is a very well-designed and well-built product. The bag offers at least 10kg buoyancy which in my experience should be enough to help an adult in difficulty.
